Es la escena más famosa de la película. En ella, Harold Lloyd consigue mantener en vilo al espectador y arrancarle un grito cuando se sube al reloj del edificio en el que trabaja, para conseguir el premio a la publicidad más original.
 
El anillo se puede elegir en dos diseños, correspondiendo a los dos tiempos de la escena: el reloj cerrado o el reloj abierto. Este modelo corresponde al de reloj abierto. Si se elige llevar los dos modelos, se consigue que veamos la escena tal y como se desarrolla en el tiempo.
